70 years is a milestone in everyones life. Celebrations are held with your own family and relatives. This time there were four cousins that had the party together in our seaside house Casa Marina. 4 x 70 years festivities. All the relatives gathered from different places around the word. This is completely different from the old times, young people are more international. Lots of my best friends visited during two weeks time. I had also an opportunity to meet my friends that I normally see not so often, and of course my work mates in the business house. Good food and Champagne is a must here in the archipelago. After the party our every day life returns with meals and breakfasts outside by the sea terrace. Suddenly ICON of the Seas is in front of our eyes. First sea trials starts today! Icon of The Seas is now, the biggest cruise ship on earth and it is made just around the corner here in Turku Meyer Shipyard.
