A task and a photo a day

My home harbour in the suwn and S/y Naneux just returned from the North Sea trip

Now I’m in a hurry. We have a scedule to sail S/y Naneux down to Lisboa. Starting in the first half of July. We have to be in Southern Europe before the autumn storms start to rage in Atlantic ocean.

Building my 34 foot S/y Naneux for the Atlantic Ocean.

This is not going to be a Joy Ride although building boats is always fun! I have 60 days to get the Boat ready for the big adventure. 60 days to Rock and 40 demanding tasks to be fulfilled. The spring has just started and the temperatures are suitable for building outdoors. That is good because my shed is so full of various fittings that something must go out. A lot have been done during the dark winter months, glass fiber parts, stainless fittings, wooden details etc. Yesterday my job was to polish and attach one of the instrument panels to a Stainless fitting going around main hatch.   Some things done under the dark winter nights in my shed to be prepared for the early spring working sessions.
